The title may feel hyper-aggressive, but it's actually a well-reasoned and self-humbling treatise about how choosing and prioritizing the right values can lead to much greater personal outcomes. He posits that, while everyone experiences trauma and injustice that may be outside our control, we can develop cognitive habits that lead us to respond according to our values, which is conducive to positive outcomes, and a generally happier life.
Does the author throw in gratuitous 4-letter words through out the book? Sure. 4-Letter words are sexy. They sell books.
Are these ideas revolutionary? No. But the author is logical, and his language is easy to remember and internalize.
Life is rarely fair, and so it's easy to develop a victim mentality (i.e. because most people are victims of trauma and injustice). If you or anyone you know frequently exhibits a victim mentality-- and you don't mind some gratuitous profanity-- then I would definitely recommend this f*cking book.

Great review. Thanks!
